ALDISprotokoll/BLIDSprotokoll delivers a complete report of all lightning discharges within a freely defined area around your location the following day – as PDF, CSV, or Excel, with all relevant parameters.
For each individual location, an area is defined in which lightning strikes are detected. The report is automatically delivered the following day and contains all relevant data on the time, intensity, location, and type of each discharge – aimed at grid operators, insurers, experts, and anyone who needs to provide complete proof of lightning events.
What the report includes
For each detected discharge within the defined location area, five parameters are documented.
Date & Time
Exact time of the lightning strike, accurate to the second.
Current Strength
Amplitude of the lightning strike in kiloamperes (kA).
Location
Address, postal code, and town of the nearest strike point for unambiguous assignment.
GPS Coordinates
Geographic latitude and longitude for precise mapping and GIS analysis.
Lightning Type
Distinction between cloud-to-cloud (CC) and cloud-to-ground (CG) lightning.
