Thanks to over 155 measuring stations distributed throughout Europe, lightning strikes can be located with an accuracy of up to 50 meters. ALDIS / BLIDS provides an updated map every 15 minutes via the "ALDISspion / BLIDSspion", on which all thunderstorm cells of the last 2 hours are displayed.
